Nursing Student Progression

In the event a nursing student is unable to progress with the entering cohort for which they were accepted, and therefore cannot follow the assigned curriculum plan for that cohort, the student may be placed in the next available cohort. Placement will depend on course availability, cohort size, and the required sequence of nursing courses. If a student is repeating a course, all coursework and clinical experiences must be retaken. If a gap has occurred between clinical courses, the student may be required to enroll in a nursing transition course. Dropping a course or taking a leave of absence will change the student’s graduation date.
