A hold is placed on a student’s account when they have not completed a necessary requirement to continue in their program. Examples of reasons for a hold include: failure to complete a required form, failure to attend or schedule a required Student Code of Conduct meeting, failure to complete Student Health requirements.
When a hold is placed on a student account, the student will not be able to register for future terms or add courses to the current term. Individual information about type of holds is available in the Student Information System (SIS) or from the Registrar’s office.
